Find Your Inner Badass Sexy Self

Hey babe, are you feeling stuck? I know how it is, I have been there too. It’s like you’re moving through life on a conveyor belt. Going through the motions as life flies by you in a blink. Getting through the day to day and picking up the pieces of those around you. Feeling like there’s barely enough time to get everything done. Sound familiar?

As women, we often get stuck in all these things that we are to other people… mother, wife, sister, daughter, career woman, homeowner, etc. etc. etc. But when was the last time you embraced the sexy badass goddess that you are? When was the last time you even saw her in the mirror? Been a while? I hear you. I am you.

I cannot express the importance of remembering that over and above all the titles you hold and things you do, is the capable, strong, sexy WOMAN who you are! You are not defined by the roles you play. You can only be defined by who you decide to be. Before you had any of the other titles and responsibilities, you had goals, dreams, wants, and needs; and those still matter just as much as they did in the past, and just as much as the wants and needs of those around you. So, if you’re anything like me, it’s HIGH TIME you get back in touch with HER.

But to do that, you’re going to need to put in the work to find her. She’s still there. Just as prominent as she ever was. She’s just been put on the backburner in the busyness of life. The first step to connecting with her again is by making her a priority again. No matter how busy you are with all the other things, you CAN and MUST find the time to prioritize her. Your life literally depends on it. And all the other priorities in your life – your marriage, your children, your business, your friends – will all benefit from you prioritizing YOU.

Here are some things you can do to get started:

  • Get yourself a new outfit that fits you well in your current size and makes you feel sexy and confident!

  • Move your body – get a good workout to get those endorphins pumping.

  • Create or find a badass playlist to fix your mindset. Need ideas, here’s one that’s already put together for you!

  • Make a list of 5-10 things about yourself that make you feel confident.

  • Treat yourself to a spa treatment – at home or at the salon. Freshened up hair, nails or an exfoliating skin treatment can make a world of difference in your confidence level!

  • Leave time to get ready in the morning. Even if you have no plans, a little makeup with a put together outfit and hairstyle has the power to set your day on the right track!

  • Fuel your body with goodness. A vitamin packed smoothie, salad, or supplement will help you feel better inside and out!

  • Set up a sexy photoshoot. Boudoir, headshots, something fun, the options are endless. Something powerful happens when you see yourself through the lens of another – gift yourself with that opportunity!

  • Get yourself into a community that lifts you up! It could be your family, group of friends, or an online community like this one!

  • Gift yourself with a life coach to help you navigate your way back to yourself and the sexy badass you are!

Prioritizing yourself doesn’t need to be a week-long self-discovery retreat (although, if you can swing that, go for it!!). Commit to an hour, 20 minutes, even 5 minutes to fulfilling your needs and working toward your dreams. This is an investment into your future!
